In order to identify the different needs of the two types of users, supervisors and employees, we conducted two separate rounds of interviews with them. Here are some of our key findings:

For supervisors:

  • Supervisors don’t have time to go through every detail of each service. They need to identify overall performance and trends quickly within dozens of services the company provides.

  • Supervisors don't understand what each data means, they need something to help them immediately understand what each data means.

For employees:

  • They need to quickly locate the weaknesses of the service they are responsible for.

  • They need a way to prioritize each weakness to decide on an area of focus.
